Makase began as a premium, text-first home concierge. Families had one number to call, one relationship, one bill. Inspired by the Japanese concept of omakase, placing trust in an expert.

While serving those first families, we noticed something bigger. The coordination problem wasn't unique to home services. Families depend on attorneys, advisors, accountants, and realtors throughout life, and those professionals were spending too much time coordinating work instead of doing the work only they could do.

Makase Law and Tretis
Makase Law launched as our first operating system, powered by Tretis, the operational teammate inside every Makase product. Firms now say things like ‘ask Tretis’ and ‘Tretis reminded me.’ Professionals work with Tretis. Families experience Makase.
